Personal statement

I have lived in many parts of the world and enjoyed dealing with many different types of people and cultures. On the way I have picked up numerous skills including entrepreneurial skills having run my own businesses and academic skills through various degrees. I am curious by nature, do not shy away from new experiences and am self-driven having taught myself many of the software skills I possess today. My interest lies in cognitive psychology and its neural correlates. Bearing this in mind, my goal is to become fully immersed in the field of shallow brain neuroscience by opening my own consulting company , specialising in psychophysiological measurements and acquiring a Doctoral degree in that subject. I would then be utilising my entrepreneurial skills and my enjoyment of acquiring knowledge

Current Skills and work experience

  1. Writing: All through my life. My degrees required a lot of writing and I was writing in terms of webdesign (content for pages) And I enjoy it
  2. Software knowledge and self teaching ability/curiosity. For my business Interactive Reality I taught myself in the  use of Photoshop, Excel, Java, Indesign, iMotions, Msoffice, Pagemaker, Eventide, HTML, Joomla, WordPress, CSS and other software programs and languages. And I enjoy it!
  3. Getting on with people. Running my own company – my clients have been obtained through referrals and word of mouth. Get on well with people. My experience with living in several countries and being exposed to different cultures. And I enjoy it!
